Was listening to a stand-up comedian routine on my way home. When I got out of the car the last words I heard from the routine were “Have you ever had been so exhausted that your morning alarm becomes a part of your dream?” I verbally answered “Yes,” suddenly in the distance I hear a train whistle howling in the wind…is this real life?

When I was in second grade, I played a game where I would stick a popcorn cornel up my nose and shoot it out to see how far I could propel it across the room. One day a cornel went up too far. I told my parents and they tried to suck it out with a vacumm cleaner hose. We then went to specialist who strapped me down and tried to extract it while I was still awake and I kicked him in the nuts because it hurt. Eventually we went to the hospital where I was put under and they successfully removed the cornel. When I woke up they asked me if I wanted to keep it as a souvneir. I said yes and my mother said NO! By the way it was half-popped when they got it out. I was eight.

Walking to class during the day
